Eric G a.k.a. Eric Gomez began his DJ career in 1989
initially as a hobby, when someone informed him that he could actually
make money doing something he enjoyed. His first ever gig was a New
Years eve gig at the Woodshed Lounge at the Howard Johnson restaurant
in Springfield, VT after the scheduled entertainment cancelled due
to the weather. He played music via a guitar amp, a 16 channel band
mixer, and two dual cassette decks.
After that he decided to try and get himself the area High School
gigs by undercutting the competition, which worked and he formed his
DJ business which was then call Digital Bass Sound and LightAt some
point Eric hooked up with Nightclub and Entertainment Management legend
Bill Henne, and landed his first real Nightclub gig at what was called
Moguls nightclub. From there Eric's skills blossomed and the evolution
of the CD player happened.. He then started playing dance music in
what had always been a Rock and Roll club. Well, it caught on &
spawned a new night called the Thursday Night Grind at the new Destiny
Nightclub. It was so successful that they eventually switched the
Satuday night format to dance music as well and the Eric G legacy
began. Today Eric is the resident DJ at Electra Nightclub in Lebanon,
NH on Thursday nights and Saturday nights and plays all over the world
at different Clubs, raves, parties, and weddings. |
